May Insight 3: As Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month comes to close, HRCap dedicates this week’s HR Insights to AAPI language fluency diversity across professional industries such as HR, Finance, IT Services, and Energy. The top 10 AAPI languages spoken by employees/candidates include Hindi, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Urdu, Vietnamese, Tamil and Gujarati.

The rising importance of diverse language fluency and cultural aptitude has led to greater glocalization across organizations and industries as a whole. It also allows cultural representation and appreciation in our workplaces to continue beyond AAPI Heritage Month through language diversity.

HRCap actively partners with our client companies to grow more inclusive, diverse, and adaptive workforces by fostering cultural sensitivity and empowering employees to leverage diverse foreign language skills. We also invite our candidates to invest in building foreign language proficiency to increase their market competitiveness in the rapidly glocalizing workforce.
