HRCap has been recognized as the 2023 NJBIZ Empowering Women Award Honoree, which is NJ Business Magazine's new awards program recognizing and celebrating workplaces showing strong commitment to supporting and elevating women in New Jersey. The Empowering Women Award Program has been designed to showcase the substantial efforts by companies that help advance women in the workplace and community. This inaugural awards program complements the long-standing NJBIZ programs that recognize high-achieving businesswomen across the state, such as The Best 50 Women in Business Awards.

“It is time to honor those organizations that invest in, elevate and support women leaders,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher and managing director of BridgeTower Media. “Women leaders can only succeed with the support of the organizations they work for and with.”

Judges have evaluated companies on how they demonstrate a commitment to the following:

(1) have a track record of recruiting, hiring, and promoting women,

(2) offer a mentoring program for women,

(3) work toward systemic change in society to combat inequality,

(4) place women on the board or in the C-Suite,

(5) advance the cause of women through philanthropic or community endeavors,

(6) support programs that assist marginalized women, and

(7) provide scholarship assistance to women.

HRCap has met all 7 criteria and demonstrated an action-based commitment to supporting and empowering women of color throughout the world. We have been highly committed to building global workspaces where everyone feels respected, valued, and included. We understand the difference between equality and equity, so our leadership team provides equal opportunities to all, while also being empathetic to offer equitable accommodations where needed.

Our internal hiring, recruiting, and consulting processes reflect the importance of increasing gender representation in our own organization. Our current global workforce is 60% women, and we have hired and promoted over 10 women employees to managerial and executive positions company-wide, one of them being our current Chief Marketing Officer and Global Vice President.

We also actively celebrate Women’s History Month annually by uplifting both historical and current women leaders that have contributed to their respective industries. This year, our “Voices of Women at HRCap” leaflet unified and elevated the experiences of our women employees from our global offices and offered meaningful advice for aspiring women leaders.

Additionally, our recruitment teams partner with over 1000 client organizations to foster inclusive spaces that allow women leaders a chance to enter C-Suite positions for greater DEI and diverse organizational structure. As a result, we have proudly placed over 5000 women candidates into Executive positions, C-Suite/Board Advisory seats, fast-track development programs, and global leadership roles for our small to multinational client companies.

To support emerging young leaders active in AAPI communities, the HRCap Next-Gen Leadership Scholarship program provides tuition support and complementary 1:1 career coaching with our expert recruiters. We have also hosted professional clothing drives with Dress for Success, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged women to achieve economic independence by providing resources such as professional apparel, support networks, and development programs for their continued success. We also partnered with AAPI Montclair to cohost a Harvest Moon Soiree to uplift our greater AAPI communities as part of our ongoing CSR mission toward cultivating diversity and inclusivity.

HRCap will be attending the award ceremony on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at The DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset. alongside the 52 other award honoree companies including Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, Dress for Success Central New Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health, New York Jets, and Sharp Electronics Corp.
