Applications for our third annual Next-Gen Leadership Scholarship will open in May 2024.

DETAILS AND ELIGIBILITY

In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, we are holding our annual scholarship essay program to promote and empower the next generation of multicultural leaders.

In order to participate in the scholarship essay, applicants must meet the following criteria:​

  1. Currently Enrolled in a U.S.-based College or Graduate School

  2. Must either...

    • Identify as Asian American & Pacific Islander OR

    • Is taking Asian American studies or Asian language course

 

**U.S. Citizenship is not a requirement.

SCHOLARSHIP ESSAY TOPIC

Students must submit a Leadership Essay (500 - 750 words) reflecting and answering ALL of the following questions: 

(1) What does your AAPI culture mean to you, OR why are you interested in Asian American studies/languages?

(2) How do you display one or more of these qualities (service excellence, professionalism, integrity, cultural diversity, and/or human development) as a leader in your respective community?

  • Short Intro & LinkedIn URL in Bio section
