On the evening of Saturday, June 7, 2025, over 200 esteemed guests gathered at the waterfront Chart House in Weehawken, New Jersey to commemorate a monumental occasion: HRCap’s 25th Anniversary. The VVIP Gala was more than a celebration of longevity. It was a powerful showcase of global unity, visionary leadership, and a renewed commitment to shaping the future of HR on a worldwide scale.
From the moment guests arrived, the evening felt like an intersection of past and future, East and West, tradition and transformation. The scenic skyline of Manhattan served as the perfect backdrop for this significant chapter in HRCap’s journey. What began in 2000 as a bold mission to champion people-first practices has since grown into a global movement that is redefining how organizations find, foster, and future-proof their talent.
A Gathering of Global Changemakers
The gala welcomed a distinguished roster of leaders from across business, government, and community sectors. Executives from Fortune 500 firms, representatives from Korean and U.S. government agencies, and trailblazing entrepreneurs filled the room with energy and anticipation.
Several key figures delivered heartfelt messages and celebratory remarks throughout the evening. Advisor Young Man Kim of KOCHAM, Deputy Consul General Munkyu Park of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York, and KOCHAM Chairman Hochan Park opened the evening with congratulatory video tributes. Each message recognized HRCap’s vital role in bridging the U.S.–Korea business ecosystem over the past 25 years.
Jae Sung Yoon, Chief Investment Officer of New York Life Investment Management, and Englewood Cliffs Mayor Mark Park offered celebratory toasts that spoke to the company’s cross-sector impact and enduring presence in the community.

Honoring 25 Years of Purpose-Driven Growth
Founded at the turn of the millennium, HRCap has grown into the largest Asian American executive search and HR consulting firm of its kind. With more than 25,000 successful placements across 130 cities and a client network of over 1,500 organizations, HRCap’s footprint is both deep and wide. More remarkably, its talent retention rate exceeding 95 percent is a testament to the firm’s meticulous, human-centric approach to organizational success.
Under the founding leadership of CEO Andrew Sungsoo Kim and the next-generation vision of CMO Stella H. Kim, HRCap has evolved in size, scale, and strategy. Our work now extends far beyond recruitment into DEI strategy, leadership development, glocalization advisory, organizational diagnostics, and AI-based consulting.

Introducing HRCap 2.0
A defining moment of the evening came with the formal unveiling of HRCap 2.0, a strategic evolution built on three guiding pillars: Legacy, Magnetism, and Connection. In his address, CEO Kim emphasized that HR is not just a department, but a company’s philosophy and a strategic framework for sustainable growth. He described HRCap as a magnet that connects industries, generations, and cultures in a rapidly changing global landscape.
CMO Stella H. Kim’s keynote introduced the framework for HRCap 2.0 through eight distinct Magnetic Forces: Alignment, Attraction, Polarity, Connection, Network, Resilience, Disruption, and Transformation. She outlined how these elements will empower organizations to build strong talent pipelines, adapt to change, and thrive during times of uncertainty. Her vision positioned HRCap not only as a solutions provider, but as a strategic partner that builds entire HR ecosystems to help companies align purpose with performance.

In line with its 25th anniversary theme, HRCap launched the HRCap Legacy MAGNET ICONS program. The program serves to spotlight and elevate their impact while inspiring the next generation of bilingual global leaders. Through this initiative, HRCap is celebrating legacy while reinforcing its core value of connection.
Looking Ahead with Global Vision
HRCap’s ambitions extend far beyond this milestone. The firm is actively expanding its presence across Europe and Asia, with plans to introduce platform-based solutions and AI-integrated HR services that respond to the growing demands of a global workforce.
One of the most exciting announcements of the evening was the upcoming U.S.–Korea Global HR Forum scheduled for Spring 2026. This international gathering will bring together policymakers, business leaders, and HR innovators to explore critical topics such as AI in the workplace, DEI strategies, and future-focused HR governance.
Through initiatives like the Global HR Forum and continued investment in bilingual leadership pipelines, HRCap is poised to advance a connected and human-centered approach to talent and economic development.

A Night to Remember
As guests bid farewell to the glowing skyline and the evening drew to a close, they left with more than memories. They carried with them a renewed sense of mission and momentum. The gala was not simply a celebration of what has been achieved over the past 25 years. It was a resounding commitment to what lies ahead.
HRCap has long been a connector of people, organizations, and cultures. With the launch of HRCap 2.0, it now steps forward as a catalyst for change, bringing strategic alignment and magnetic energy to every partnership and community it touches.
