HRCap Executive Joins Forbes HR Council

Written by HRCap, Inc.

July 7, 2022

We are pleased to announce that our HRCap Executive Stella H. Kim (Managing Director and Head of Executive Search) has recently accepted an invitation to join the Forbes Human Resources Council, an selective invitation-only community for senior-level human resources executives across all industries.

Members are selected based on their depth and diversity of experience, then invited to participate in a private forum for discussion and collaboration with the opportunity to share their industry insights.

Since March 2022, Stella has actively contributed and served on the expert panel by sharing her thought leadership on recruiting, executive leadership, and organizational design as follows:

Can they answer candidate questions about your organization?--It's most important to assess their depth of understanding of your company, as this builds credibility and trust for all parties. How accurately can they represent your business? Do they know your corporate culture well enough to vet for best-fit candidates? Can they set realistic expectations by answering candidate questions on organizational structure, growth agendas, and leadership styles?

- Stella H. Kim, SPHR

Recognition is key. Employees often feel that their hard work is overlooked, so it's important to acknowledge their contributions, virtually or in person. Each person may also have a different preference for how they want to be recognized in a public or private setting. We can normalize giving each other more positive feedback (not just constructive feedback) and giving due credit for others' ideas in all meetings.

- Stella H. Kim, SPHR

Stella has been continuously learning, giving back her expertise, and networking with like-minded council members by ideating on business challenges. Stella looks forward to shedding deeper insights and publishing more meaningful content around global recruiting best practices, hybrid workplaces, cross-cultural and cross-generational diversity and inclusion, and executive leadership development.
