Managing Director Stella H. Kim Presents 2023 Top 10 HR Trends and Recommendations

South Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and the HR Development Service of Korea (HRDK) hosted the 16th HRD Conference from September 15th - September 16th, 2022 with the conference theme of “Human Resources Development, Connecting Today to the Future.”
The HRD Conference finally returned to in-person at COEX in Seoul. This was also the first year that the Conference was held globally in a hybrid setting allowing for both onsite and online speakers and participants.
Subject experts from around the world were appointed to present HR thought leadership and corporate success stories. There were 3 Keynote speakers: Ben Nelson - CEO of Minerva University, Professor Jae Yong Shin from Seoul National University, and 궤도, the creator of the channel 안될과학 Unrealscience on YouTube. 23 different sessions were held across the two days, and all focused on highly popular and rising topics in HR Development and Talent Management.
Our Managing Director Stella H. Kim was appointed to speak for the HR Management track and has successfully presented on the 2023 Top 10 HR Trends & Recommendation.

Stella strongly emphasized the importance of continuously hiring and developing talent who have both tech-centric and human-centric skills. She explained how HR executives and professionals must actively close the skills gap to remain competitive, and that we all must lead with emotional intelligence and build data literacy to make empathetic yet unbiased decisions.
Her session lasted 70 minutes with over 300 registered participants giving highest acclamation.
