After the Top 10 HR Trends, Sehoon Shon, Software Engineer at Netflix, spoke about his work experience, interview process, and the work culture environment. His team continues to operate according to a hybrid/remote work schedule and has flexibility as to where and even when he works. He also shared Netflix's values and work culture, which revolves around "Freedom and Responsibility." Although the employees are given a lot of autonomy, they encourage employees to use their best judgment, maintain a sense of responsibility for their work, and keep Netflix's best interest in mind.
Key Takeaways
COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed the work setting into a hybrid work environment. More companies will give employees flexibility on not just where they work but also when.
Another important trend is on how employers should approach total compensation and employee experience programs. With many employees voluntarily quitting, organizations need to create a holistic benefits program that not only retains employees but attracts new ones as well.
Conclusion
HRCap believes it is important to continue to take part in these seminars to share data-driven insights. With a stronger understanding of these top 10 HR Trends, organizations and businesses can adjust accordingly and be prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities that come with the shifting trends.
We hope to continue working with global organizations like KMA to advise and bridge gaps of understanding by volunteering and guest speaking at seminars. We believe that it is our Corporate Social Responsibility to give back to the community by educating the wider community of HR leaders, informing job seekers, and helping career builders to get ahead of the trend.
