Job Description
|
The SCM & Planning Sr.Analyst is responsible for overseeing the Company¡¯s supply chain management project and planning for the overall integration of systems of the company and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
Maintain communications with HQ in Korea, America subsidiaries, and local vendors in order to obtain useful data and information, research, and benchmark various logistics systems, supply chain strategy, supply chain planning, operations, enterprise applications, product lifecycle management, procurement functions, and asset management.
Create a supply chain system that will improve activities and result in meaningful improvement in efficiencies and cost reductions in our food related businesses.
Plan, develop, and implement programs and procedures to ensure an efficient operation of:
The procurement function. Cost savings within quality standards.
Inventory control. Improved stock rotation and reduced obsolescence.
Transportation function. Freight cost savings and complete and on time deliveries.
Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the organization.
Involved in handling vendor negotiations and contracts.
Requirements
4~7yrs experience in supply chain management
Some experience within the consumer packaged good industry preferred.
Bachelor¡¯s degree in business-related fields. MBA degree is a plus.
Experience as a consultant is a plus.
Must be bi-lingual in Korean and English.
Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Excellent project management skills.
Effective negotiating skills.
